What One Race Looks Like
Every race gets the same treatment: the information first, then the plan. Here is a sample page so you know exactly what you are buying.
Pace Map
Projected pace: fast. Two need the lead and neither can rate. Sets up for a stalker or a late run.
Key Stats & Angles
- Trainer: Copper Lantern's barn is at its best second start off a layoff on turf. That's today.
- Jockey: Midnight Ledger picks up the meet's leading turf rider.
- Post: Wide draws have struggled at this distance; the 10 has the most work to do.
- Prep race: Harbor Sky's last race has been the key prep for this one.
Track Trends & Last Meet's Bias
Firm turf has played fair this week. At the last meet, stalkers sitting in the first three lengths won the most turf miles, and pure closers needed a hot pace to get there.
Horse-by-Horse
- #4 Copper Lantern: perfect trip on paper, sitting just off a fast pace.
- #3 Midnight Ledger: needs the pace to collapse, and it should.
- #8 Harbor Sky: came out of the key prep; drawn a bit wide.
- #1 Quiet Thunder: red flag. Short-priced, but faces a speed duel on the rail.
